CSIOS Corporation, in partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation (MCPSEF), announced 8 scholarship winners for the 2026 “Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship.”

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is Maryland’s largest and our nation’s 4th largest school county. Currently serving 160K+ students representing approximately 160+ different countries and speaking over 150+ different languages, MCSP is also considered one of the most diverse school districts in our country. Over the years, underrepresented students from this highly populous and diverse student population have faced significant, intersecting barriers to cyber educational success. Through the "Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship,” CSIOS has continued to advocate for underrepresented MCPS students aspiring to become part of Maryland’s next generation of cyber defenders.

This year, 8 high school seniors were awarded $10,000 scholarships each to help launch their careers in the cyber field. “CSIOS has dedicated itself to help MCPS students and their families overcome significant barriers, including financial constraints, lack of belonging, and systemic inequities in higher cyber education.” said Pie. Mr. Pie added, “Through this scholarship, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to expanding the cybersecurity talent in Maryland, while contributing to what matters most—our children’s future.”

CSIOS Complements its Quadruple ISO Standards with Tripe CMMI ML3 Appraisal Ratings

Today, CSIOS Corporation announced that its Cyberspace Operations Division, which is responsible for developing and provisioning full spectrum cyberspace operations (defensive, offensive, and information network operations) and cybersecurity capabilities and services to CSIOS’ customers has appraised under triple Maturity Level 3 (ML3) ratings for Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) V3.0 Development (CMMI–DEV®), Services (CMMI–SVC®), and Security (CMMI–SEC®).

CSIOS also maintains quadruple ISO standards for ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO/IEC 20000–1:2018 (Information Technology Service Management), ISO 22301:2019 (Business Continuity Management Systems), and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Information Security Management Systems). The scope of CSIOS’ ISO certifications is the “Provision of Cyberspace Operations (Defensive, Offensive, and Information Network Operations) and Cybersecurity services to U.S. Federal customers worldwide.”

During its annual Evening of Excellence ceremony held at The Music Center at Strathmore, Bethesda, MD on May 19, 2025, the Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation (MCPSEF) awarded nearly 200 scholarships and awards including CSIOS Corporation’s Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship.Every year, MCPSEF celebrates and recognizes the accomplishments of Maryland’s Montgomery County students for outstanding scholarly achievements and citizenship. This year, among others, MCPSEF selected 5 graduating seniors pursuing post-secondary studies and careers in the field of cybersecurity as winners of the Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship.

Named after CSIOS’ Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, renowned cyber strategist, and influential Hispanic leader in the field of cybersecurity, the annual $50,000 Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship was established to help make careers in the cybersecurity industry more accessible to underrepresented minority group students across MCPS.

“Giving young students a chance at a brighter educational future brings us, students, and their families, a great level of happiness.” said Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS Corporation. CSIOS Corporation announced today the inclusion of CSIOS President, Mr. Cesar Pie, in the esteemed 2025 HITEC 100 list honoring the most influential Hispanic executives in technology.

Every year, HITEC recognizes the achievements and contributions of the top US–based Hispanic technology executives with the goal of celebrating their impactful leadership and inspiring others looking to build careers in technology. HITEC’s vision is to accelerate the power and impact of Hispanic technology leaders, achieving lasting equity from the classroom to the boardroom.

Recipients are leaders from 65 different companies and 38 percent are being recognized with the HITEC 100 Award for the first time.

CSIOS Honored with Montgomery County Board of Education’s Distinguished Service to Public Education Award

CSIOS Corporation announced today that it was recognized by the Montgomery County Board of Education with theDistinguished Service to Public Education award. Established in 1997, this award recognizes individuals, groups, and organizations that have made exemplary contributions to public education in Maryland's Montgomery County.

In partnership with the Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation, CSIOS volunteered cyber experts and provided key donations to enhance several cyber programs. Together, they also established “The Cesar Pie Cyber Defender Scholarship Fund.” This is an “annually recurring” and “in perpetuity” $10,000.00 scholarship designed to make careers in the cybersecurity industry more accessible to underrepresented minority group students.

The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards® is an annual competition honoring individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership in information security. The finalists and winners are selected based on the strength of their nomination as well as the popular vote by members of the Information Security Community.

CSIOS Names Mr. Saeng Saengduangchan Corporate Chief Technology Officer

CSIOS Corporation has named Mr. Saeng Saengduangchan to the role of Corporate Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

CSIOS Board of Directors officially approved Mr. Saengduangchan’s appointment effective January 2, 2024. In this capacity, Mr. Saengduangchan will be the principal executive responsible for overseeing the implementation and advancement of corporate technology programs and innovation initiatives with emphasis in full spectrum cyberspace operations and cybersecurity services for current client programs and future growth opportunities. He will also work with line organizations in all areas related to science and technology across the company and help recruit technical talent to meet our customer’s ever–changing mission needs.

“Mr. Saengduangchan is a renowned technologist, strong leader, and team player who understands the value of technology in mission success,” said Mr. Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS.
