In 1997, the Observation Service for Internet, who drew its mission from the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, researched the Internet and related technologies to select a patron that best reflected the concerns and ideals of computer designers, programmers and users. The chosen saint was Saint Isidore of Seville (SIOS).
Born in approximately 560 in Cartagena (now modern Spain), SIOS was a prolific author, writer, and philosopher. Considered the last of the ancient Christian theorist, he was a strategic thinker, logician, and undoubtedly the most learned man of his age exercising a far–reaching and immeasurable influence on the educational life of the Middle Ages. As the patron of the Internet, SIOS is considered by many as the cyber protector of technology and high–tech firms. We chose our name as a tribute to SIOS. We appended the letter C to the beginning of SIOS to bring our name into line with our Cyberspace focus. Altogether, our name is a recognition of our philosophy of contributing to society with innovative cyber solutions, while honoring the patron of the Internet. CSIOS was established in 2015 as an S–Corporation. CSIOS is registered its Doing Business As (DBA) name as CSIOS, its domain name as www.csioscorp.com, and its tagline as Managing Beyond Objectives.
CSIOS logo is ispired by 2 geometric concepts: the Pentagon and the Golden Ratio.
CSIOS has adopted a 5–sided Polygon with equal angles and sides as the cornerstone of its logo. The regular pentagon represents not only the 5 letters of CSIOS but also its commitment to serve all 5 branches of the U.S. Armed Forces: Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, and Navy in all 5 operational domains of land, air, sea, space, and cyberspace.
CSIOS logo also integrated the Golden Ratio as part of its design. The Golden Ratio is a common mathematical ratio found in nature that can be used to create pleasing and natural looking compositions. Also known as the Golden Mean, the Golden Section, or Divine Proportion, the Golden Ratio is based on the Fibonacci sequence and describes the relationship between two proportions. In essence, the Golden Ratio is a special number approximately equal to 1.6180339887498948482. The Golden Ratio is derived from the Fibonacci sequence which is generated by adding the previous two numbers in the list together to form the next and so on and so on (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55...). Divide any number in the Fibonacci sequence by the one before it, for example 55/34, or 21/13, and the answer is always close to 1.61803.
Derived from the Golden Ratio, CSIOS leveraged the Fibonacci spiral to infuse a series of identically proportioned spirals, each having a golden ratio of 1.618. The Fibonacci Spiral has no beginning and no end and represents the endless magnitude of the cyberspace domain.
To accompany this staggering design, CSIOS chose the color royal blue to signify its commitment to providing superior services to its clients and building customer and partner’s loyalty through confidence, dependability, honesty, integrity, reliability, responsibility, and trust.

CSIOS is increasingly investing in corporate social responsibility initiatives. The aim is for our business to create higher living standards and quality of life within the communities in which we operate, while still preserving profitability for our stakeholders.
CSIOS has established the “Next Generation Cyber Students Outreach Program.” Co–chaired by Mr. Cesar Pie and Mr. Alessandro Pie (Co–President, Student Representative), this program seeks to contribute to what matters most—our children’s education.
Since inception, as part of its annual community outreach, CSIOS has and continues to champion our next generation of Maryland cyber defenders. Every year, CSIOS volunteers cyber experts and coordinates donations to Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS). With 211 schools in 2023, MCPS is the largest school district in the state of Maryland serving 160,554 students taught by about 13,994 teachers.
Specifically, CSIOS has partnered with MCPS to contribute time, expertise, and financial resources to enhance MCPS' cybercivility, cyberbullying, cybersecurity, and cybersafety programs. CSIOS has also supported after school education and outdoor programs designed to cultivate our children’s cybercuriosity and creativity skills. CSIOS’ outreach program also includes cyber mentoring programs, cyber camps, youth cyber symposiums, cyber career days, cyber job shadowing events, and donations for MCPS cyber equipment.
Finally, also in partnership with MCPS, CSIOS has established “The Cesar Pie’s Diversity in Cybersecurity Scholarship.” This annually recurring $10,000 scholarship seeks to make careers in the cybersecurity industry more accessible to underrepresented minority group students across MCPS.

Chairman, President, and CEO
A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Pie is a renowned and brilliant strategist in the field of cyberspace operations. Pie has led CSIOS to become a top provider of full spectrum cyberspace operations services and solutions to Federal Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSSPs), Network Operation Centers (NOCs), Security Operating Centers (SOCs), and Cybersecurity Integrity Centers (CICs) provisioning 24x7x365 cybersecurity services to protect and defend U.S. data, information systems and networks.
Since its inception in 2015 and under Pie’s leadership, CSIOS’ cyber executives, strategists, offensive and defensive cyberspace operations teams, services, and solutions have all achieved global distinction by national and international cyber award organizations. Overall, CSIOS has received 34 cyber awards for its contributions to the cyberspace and the global cyber community.
Among others, CSIOS has been recognized as Defensive Cyberspace Operations Company of the Year, Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year, Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year, Information Technology (IT) Services Provider Company of the Year, Hot IT Company of the Year, Defensive Cyberspace Operations Service Provider of the Year, and Maryland Cybersecurity Defender of the Year.

Pie holds a M.S. degree in Computer System Management and Information Assurance from the University of Maryland University College and some of the highest-level professional cybersecurity and management certifications including Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
Chief Human Resources Officer
Mr. Ayala joined CSIOS following a distinguished and decorated career as a Senior Enlisted Leader in the U. S. Marine Corps. A retired Sergeant Major of Marines, Mr. Ayala brings a passion for service, teamwork and underpinnings of integrity and ethics shared by everyone at CSIOS.
Mr. Ayala is a proven, driven, and compassionate results–oriented leader who excels at managing, training, and developing high–performing teams. As a retired drill instructor of Marines, Mr. Ayala has trained thousands of service members through recruit and other U.S. Marine advanced training.
Throughout his 21–year career in the Marines, Josue has received numerous awards and recognition including the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Gold Star and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with Gold Star.
Mr. Ayala was named CSIOS Human Resources Officer in September 2018. Since, he has been responsible for overseeing CSIOS human resources department as well as the corporate training and relationship management programs.
Mr. Ayala’s strong communication skills, conflict management, and organizational effectiveness; ethics; and leadership will continue to help CSIOS attract and develop the best talent to build a world–class cyber workforce of the future.
Chief Technology Officer
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Mr. Saeng Saengduangchan has served as CSIOS’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since January 2024. Previously, he served as CSIOS’ Chief Compliance Officer.
As CSIOS’ CTO, Mr. Saengduangchan oversees the implementation and advancement of corporate technology programs and innovation initiatives with emphasis on full spectrum cyberspace operations and 24x7x365 cybersecurity services for supported Cybersecurity Service Providers, Security Operating Centers, Network Operations Security Centers, and Cybersecurity Integrity Center programs.
Before joining CSIOS, Mr. Saengduangchan functioned as a technical auditor for Defense Information Systems Agency and the U.S. Army. During this time, he audited countless systems for compliance utilizing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), and best practices on a wide range of technologies to include Windows, Linux, Endpoint Security, vulnerability scanning, database, and application development. He also served as a Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) auditor and assisted with implementing the mission element into Command Cyber Operational Readiness Inspections (CCORIs) which changed traditional compliance-based audits to mission-based assessments.
Throughout his career, Mr. Saengduangchan leveraged his extensive technical and operational ingenuity to pioneer methods, concepts, and tools to automate CSSPs, Security Operating Centers, Network Operations Security Centers, and Cybersecurity Integrity Center’s operators, technologies, processes, services, and subscriber’s effectiveness, efficiencies, and compliance.
Mr. Saengduangchan holds several cybersecurity and ethical hacking certifications and has been certified as an auditor for multiple DOD methods and methodologies, as well as ISO standards.
Chief Compliance Officer
A veteran of the U.S Air Force, Mr. Tyson Gee has served as CSIOS’ Chief Compliance Officer (COO) since January 2024.
In this capacity, Mr. Gee oversees the corporate policy and compliance program, ensuring that contractual, statutory, regulatory, legal, and other corporate provisions are satisfied and complied with. Mr. Gee is also responsible for ensuring the institutionalization of business, mission, and technical standards and best practices to ensure CSIOS continues to up level the effectiveness and efficiency of the cyber products and services it delivers.
Mr. Gee also works closely, collaboratively, and cooperatively with line organizations in all areas related to science and technology, research and development, and continuous improvement and optimization across the company to certify and appraise CSIOS’ Cyberspace Operations Division and services under quadruple International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System), ISO/IEC 20000-1: 2018 (Information Technology Service Management System), ISO 22301: 2019 (Business Continuity Management System), and ISO/IEC 27001: 2022 (Information Security Management System), as well as Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) V2.0 Maturity Level 3 ratings for Development (CMMI-DEV) and Services (CMMI-SVC).
A distinguished and proven leader, Mr. Gee has demonstrated a proclivity toward team excellence, commitment, and dedication to the mission. Throughout his career, Mr. Gee has led high-performing teams in the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations and U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, earning numerous team and individual accolades. During his 20 years of service, Mr. Gee received multiple awards and recognition including three Meritorious Service Medals, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, four Air Force Commendation Medals, two Air Force Achievement Medals, and the Army Achievement Medal.
Mr. Gee holds a Master of Professional Studies in Cybersecurity Policy and Risk Analysis from Utica College and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Liberty University. Mr. Gee also holds multiple advanced industry certifications including: Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT), and GIAC Law of Data Security & Investigations (GLEG).
