CSIOS Corporation announced today a new project in support of the 24th Air Force Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) mission. Under this task, CSIOS will support the provision of cybersecurity services (i.e., protect, detect, respond, and sustain) to Air Force Information Network (AFIN) subscribers and deliver full life–cycle policy support to the 24th AF CSSP Program Office.
Located at Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland, the 24th Air Force is the operational warfighting organization that establishes, operates, maintains and defends U.S. Air Force networks to ensure warfighters can maintain the information advantage as U.S. forces prosecute military operations around the world.
“The 24th Air Force serves as Air Forces Cyber (AFCYBER), the Service Cyber Component Provider to United States Cyber Command. As AFCYBER, it directs units around the world to conduct full cyberspace operations (i.e., Defensive Cyberspace Operations, Offensive Cyberspace Operations, and Information Network Operations) across six Lines of Effort; Build, Operate, Secure and Defend the AFIN and directed mission critical cyber terrain, Extend cyber capabilities to the tactical edge of the modern battlefield and Engage the adversary in support of combatant and air component commanders” said Cesar Pie, President and CEO of CSIOS Corporation.

The U.S. ARL of the U.S. Army Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) is the Army's corporate research laboratory. Composed of six technical directorates: (1) Computational and Information Sciences; (2) Human Research and Engineering; (3) Sensors and Electron Devices; (4) Survivability and Lethality Analysis; (5) Vehicle Technology; and (6) Weapons and Materials Research, the ARL is considered the nation's premier laboratory for land forces.
